Eyebrows are an essential part of the face; they define its shape and accentuate the eyes look. That’s the reason why beauty experts start makeup by defining and drawing eyebrows before applying eye makeup.

Women with large and thick eyebrows are considered the luckiest; but the majority of women with thin or sparse eyebrows have to resort to makeup or to tattooing to make their eyebrows look thicker.

Natural homemade mixtures for thickening eyebrows:

1- Natural oils:


There are many natural oils that helps in fortifying and thickening eyebrows; the most important being ricin oil, coconut oil, almond oil or olive oil. Rub your eyebrows daily with little oil or you clean any mascara brush you don’t need then dip it in oil and brush your eyebrows. With time you will notice the growth of new eyebrow hairs; little by little, the shape of your brows will look better.

2- Milk:


Milk contains vitamins and proteins that help eyelashes to grow; coconut milk is also very useful.

Wet a piece of cotton with a little milk and pass it on your eyebrows before going to bed; this will help eyebrows to grow during night, after a while.

3. Lemon: 


Lemon helps stimulate hair bulbs for hair regrowth; massage your eyebrows with a lemon slice. You can also put some lemon slices in a little coconut oil and let the covered mixture marinate overnight; the next day apply the mixture on your eyebrows for one or two hours. When using lemon, it is preferable not to get exposed to sun rays to avoid allergies.  

4. Aloe Vera: 


Aloe Vera contributes to fortifying eyebrows and softening the skin around them. Put a little amount of Aloe Vera gel – the liquid inside the leaves - on your eyebrows for 30 minutes then rinse with water.

5. Onion juice:


Onion contains fortifying substances that help the regrowth of eyebrow hairs; squeeze one onion and wet a piece of cotton with a little juice; put it on your eyebrows for 10 minutes then rinse with cold water.

6. Vaseline:


Use vaseline on your eyebrows and on the area surrounding them, whenever you can during the day or before bedtime; this will help the regrowth of eyebrow hairs. Avoid putting any cream on your eyebrows; it might contain chemical ingredients that lead to hair falling.
